INTRODUCTION

A lot of sludge is left over after the waste water treatment. The moisture content may be not high, but it's so mushy that it's hard to dry. Thermal drying is an intermediate sludge treatment process that consists of evaporating the water in the sludge. It significantly reduces the volume and weight of the sludge so that it is easier to recover.

The sludge dryer is specially designed for sludge with high moisture, high viscosity, high water holding capacity and low calorific value. The sludge dryer is mainly composed of a rotating body, a material copying plate, a transmission device, a supporting device, a sealing ring, etc. The new material copying plate has multiple functions such as flow diversion, flow equalization, and material copying, which can make the material evenly distributed on the entire surface of the radial section of the dryer, fully contact with the hot air flow, and achieve the purpose of fully utilizing the thermal energy.
